JANESVILLE, Wis. — Two people sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries following a crash on USH 14 from County Highway O to westbound WIS 11 Monday morning, the Rock County Sheriff's Office said.
The crash, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, caused both directions of the road to close, with the first report at around 6:45 a.m. at mile marker 173.6. The area reopened at around 8:19 a.m.
Investigation from the sheriff's office indicated that a Saturn Ion was westbound on Hwy 11 and crossed the centerline, entering the lane for eastbound traffic. The Saturn collided head-on with an eastbound Chevrolet Trax.
