Michigan State’s run of afternoon kickoffs will continue in Big Ten play.

The Spartans (3-2, 0-2) play at No. 7 Indiana (5-0, 2-0) on Oct. 18 and that game will start at 3:30 p.m. and be broadcast by Peacock, the conference announced on Monday.

Michigan State is coming off back-to-back road losses – at USC and Nebraska – and hosts UCLA (1-4, 1-1) at noon on Saturday. The game at Indiana will mark the third straight afternoon kickoff after the Spartans loss at USC didn’t end until 2:55 a.m. Eastern.

Indiana continues to roll under second-year coach Curt Cignetti and will put its unbeaten record on the line at No. 3 Oregon on Saturday. The Hoosiers throttled Michigan State 47-10 in East Lansing last year to reclaim the Old Brass Spittoon.
