MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Sunday evening stabbing is under investigation, according to the Mobile Police Department.

According to an MPD news release, officers responded to the 5400 block of Highway 90 at about 9:45 p.m. in reference to an assault.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed. The man reportedly told officers he had been stabbed by a man he didn't know.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
