BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Robertsdale teenager has been arrested in Gulf Shores after allegedly breaking into numerous cars, according to Gulf Shores police.

Police in Gulf Shores received calls on Monday around 7:30 a.m. reporting a suspicious or disabled car near Pine Acres Road, off County Road 8, and a person running from the car.

When police arrived, they found the car had been reported stolen from Robertsdale, and at least six cars on Pine Acres Road had been broken into, according to officials.

A 16-year-old was reportedly taken into custody less than an hour after the initial call came in to police.

The teen also allegedly entered a vacant house. The car and stolen property from the reported car break-ins were recovered.

The teen has been charged with multiple felonies.
