The Buffalo Bills have dominated the AFC East since the start of the decade, winning the division five straight years since 2020. On Sunday, they may have met the team ready to do something about their divisional stranglehold. The New England Patriots — led by second-year quarterback Drake Maye — went into Buffalo to hand the Bills not only their first loss of the season, but also their first regular season home loss since 2023. With a new coach, a new offensive coordinator and an ascending quarterback, the Patriots looked like a legitimate challenger to Buffalo in their 23-20 victory.
