VALPARAISO — A 69-year-old Valparaiso man faces a felony battery charge after being accused of repeatedly touching the backside of a female at the Family Express at 1901 Burlington Beach Road, according to a court document

Stylianos Shepard, 69, is charged with sexual battery stemming from the alleged Sept. 14 incident, records show.

The female reportedly told police she came out from a back room at the business when Shepard touched her without consent.

Shepard is accused of responding to the female's comments regarding the pizza selection with, "I know love" as he touched her.

The female told police Shepard touched her in this manner three times and attempted a fourth when she walked away, according to a court document.
