CANBY, Ore. (KPTV) - No one was hurt after a train crashed into a log truck stuck on tracks near Canby on Monday morning, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 8:15 p.m., emergency crews were called to a crash involving a Union Pacific train and a log truck on South Barlow Road where it crosses South Highway 99E.

The sheriff’s office says a log truck was stopped at a red light on South Barlow when the train crossing was activated. The driver reportedly could not move the truck out of the way without crashing into other vehicles.

The train hit the log truck in between two trailers, and no injuries were reported.

South Barlow Road will be closed at South Highway 99E for several hours during the ongoing investigation. People should avoid the area and find alternate
