LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - After four consecutive home games — following a season opener that had a home feel at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City — Nebraska football will have its first true road game at Maryland on Saturday.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network.

Third-year head coach Matt Rhule said the Huskers are changing up their normal travel itinerary and will leave on Thursday. He said it is the only time this year the program plans on making Thursday a travel day.

Friday will be a walkthrough day at a local high school in Maryland, Rhule said.

Rhule admitted to being “high maintenance” while traveling, but also said “none of it really matters” when it comes time for kickoff.
