Three people have been arrested and charged in relation to a March shooting that is believed to be related to an extortion investigation.
On March 27, at approximately 1:55 a.m., a residence in the 13300-block of 89A Avenue was damaged by several gunshots; nobody was injured, a Surrey Police Service release said.
The victim contacted SPS later the same day and during the course of the investigation, it was determined the incident was related to an ongoing extortion investigation and three suspects were identified, leading to the execution of numerous search warrants.
With the assistance of policing partners, three men were identified and arrested on Friday (Oct. 3). The following individuals have been charged:
