Police have launched a probe after masked vandals attacked two businesses in Edinburgh. ‌

The incidents happened at offices belonging to security company Securitas and aerospace firm Leonardo UK on Sunday. ‌

Footage, which was shared on social media , showed an unknown group wearing balaclavas smashing windows and desks with hammers and spray painting walls. ‌

The words 'drop Leonardo now' could be seen daubed on the wall as the video moved through one building.

A post on X, formerly Twitter , suggested Leonardo was targeted because it manufactured equipment for the Israeli armed forces. ‌

Officers from Police Scotland have confirmed to the Record that they are working to identify those responsible.
