Lead defense attorney in the case, Marc Agnifilo said Sean "Diddy" Combs’ team plans to file the notice of appeal “in the coming days,” calling the ruling and trial flawed. “Both the guidelines calculation and the sentence took account of conduct for which Mr. Combs was acquitted by a jury,” Agnifilo told the New York Post. “We contend this amounts to legal error.”
