Two men are facing drug charges after police investigated a report from an individual who said they were stealing from a vehicle in downtown Guelph.
Guelph police said they received a report from an individual that the men were seen on Friday, at 10:25 a.m., removing items from a vehicle. The two allegedly fled the area but were found by police a short time later.
When the pair, the 24-year-old and 23-year-old, both from Guelph, were arrested, officers reported finding quantities of suspected fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $4,700. Police said officers also seized digital scales, empty baggies, cash, and a collapsible baton.
