BATON ROUGE, La. - Newly released video aired by Houma TV appears to show that former LSU football player Kyren Lacy’s vehicle was behind, not in front of, the cars involved in a fatal 2024 crash, according to Lacy's attorney. Louisiana State Police, however, said their investigation found Lacy's reckless driving caused the crash.

The Louisiana Democratic Party calls for an independent investigation into what it describes as wrongful accusations against Lacy and demands Attorney General Liz Murrill take immediate action.
