TOLLESON, AZ (AZFamily) — A man accused of trying to kidnap a young girl in the West Valley last week told police this isn’t the first time he has done it, according to court documents newly obtained by Arizona’s Family.

Last Monday, an 11-year-old girl was walking home from school in the area of 87th Avenue and Van Buren Street when Christopher Leon, 34, allegedly tried to kidnap her, according to Tolleson Police.

The girl told police that she was walking home from school when Leon, whom she did not know, grabbed her by the forearms and tried to place cash in her hand, according to the police report.
