AUGUSTA, Maine — The Maine Department of Energy Resources has released its 2025-2026 Winter Heating Guide to help residents lower energy bills while staying safe and warm this winter.

The guide includes home heating and weatherization tips, contact information for state and local energy programs, and links to current energy prices. It also highlights assistance available through MaineHousing, Efficiency Maine, Community Action Agencies, and other partners.

“The new Winter Heating Guide is a timely resource for homeowners who are looking for ways to manage their heating bills this winter,” Michael Stoddard, executive director of Efficiency Maine, said. “I encourage Maine people to reach out to Efficiency Maine to learn about our efficiency and weatherization programs.”
