The truck driver who police say was attacked by Mark Sanchez has filed a lawsuit against both the former NFL quarterback and Sanchez's current employer, Fox Corporation.

Sanchez faces multiple criminal charges after police say he was the aggressor in a late-night altercation in a downtown Indianapolis alley. According to court documents, an intoxicated Sanchez attacked a driver working for a cooking oil disposal service and was pepper-sprayed and then stabbed in self-defense in the early morning hours of Oct. 4.

Hours after the Marion County Prosecutor's Office upgraded Sanchez's misdemeanor case to a felony charge of battery resulting in serious bodily injury, the 69-year-old truck driver filed a case for civil damages in the Marion Superior Court.
