BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A former Brazos County juvenile probation officer remains in the Collin County jail on Monday, more than a week after his arrest on child solicitation and child pornography charges.
Steven Dale Criddle was arrested by the Department of Public Safety in Collin County on Sept. 28 and faces second-degree felony charges of online solicitation of a minor for sexual conduct and solicitation to commit aggravated sexual assault of a child, as well as a third-degree felony charge for possession of child pornography. He faces a combined $200,000 bond.
Brazos County’s Juvenile Services division employed Criddle as a Juvenile Probation officer dating back to at least 2015, according to online records. Criddle resigned from the county shortly after his arrest.
