COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Plans are being finalized for a large-scale event to honor Charlie Kirk on the campus of Texas A&M, KBTX has confirmed from multiple sources.

Kirk, a conservative political activist, media figure, and co-founder of Turning Point USA , was known for rallying young Republicans on college campuses across America before he was assassinated in Utah.

Over the last week, multiple sources have shared with KBTX that the Texas A&M chapter of Turning Point USA has been working to finalize plans for an event sometime this month, which would be open to the public.
