NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Ever since a vague Facebook post by Little Caesars North Platte announcing a temporary closure on Sept. 24, the community has flooded social media with questions.

Thirteen Little Caesars locations across Nebraska, Virginia and North Carolina have closed their doors, one of them being North Platte’s. Right now, the question is “why?”

KNOP spoke with former director of operations Taylor Jenkins and former district manager Kim Nitz for answers.

“We ran out of product, first and foremost, because we weren’t getting trucks,” Jenkins said. “There were financial issues, and then it turned into employees not getting paid. A lot of us have decided to resign. I, myself, resigned on Wednesday, Kim followed, and 222 employees also followed.”
