WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (WBAY) - The Crivitz Middle School/High School principal has been arrested with a fourth OWI offense and is on indefinite leave.

According to the criminal complaint, Jeffery Baumann was driving west on Highway 13 coming from a local tavern when he was pulled over by the City of Wisconsin Dells Police for not having exterior lights on.

Police could smell alcohol on his breath, and Baumann’s eyes were described as bloodshot and watery.

The criminal complaint says a check with dispatch confirmed that Baumann had three prior OWI convictions on record.

The complaint also says the police officer reported Baumann failed multiple field sobriety tests and blew a 0.77 BrAC.

The police officer arrested him for operating a vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration.
