FLINT, MI - Consumers Energy has rescheduled when power will be interrupted for nearly 2,900 Flint customers.
The interruption will start at at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and last until 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, as crews perform critical work in a local substation.
The work was originally scheduled for Monday, Oct. 6 , but Consumers Energy announced it needed to reschedule due to tonight’s expected weather.
Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast after 8 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Customers will be affected in the general area south of the Flint River, north of Corunna Road, east of I-75 and west of Springer Avenue. McLaren Flint Hospital will not be affected.
