AUSTIN, Texas — A "suspicious person" has been detained following a report at Lake Travis High School on Monday morning.

Before the second block of classes began, students reported a "suspicious person" in the front parking lot of the campus, according to school officials.

District police responded to the school, and the person was taken into custody. It is unclear at this time what the suspect was reportedly doing.

The suspect's vehicle will also be towed from the campus.

School officials said there was no active threat to students and staff. In a statement, Lake Travis High School Principal James Bush, said:
