A 58-year-old woman from Callaway County was arrested Sunday after she allegedly shot an AR-15 at a man who was in a skid steer on her property, according to court documents.

Rebecca Elm is charged with second-degree assault on a special victim, armed criminal action and first-degree property damage in connection to the incident, according to court records.

A probable cause statement said Elm called 911 after she shot at someone in a skid steer after moving her vehicle to block them from accessing an easement she owned.

When deputies arrived to her property, which is on Route O southeast of Fulton, they found that the man in the skid steer was elderly and could not get out on his own due to his age and physical ability, according to the probable cause statement.
