The city of Columbia announced that its monthly "Lets Talk Local" discussion this month will feature Mayor Barbara Buffaloe.
The event will be held Oct. 15 at Missouri United Methodist Church from 5:30-7 p.m., according to a news release.
The discussion will focus on the city's newly adopted Fiscal Year 2026 budget, which went into effect Oct. 1, according to the news release.
According to the release, city staff will showcase highlights from the budget and answer community questions.

People coming the event should use the Tenth and Cherry Parking Garage, 1000 Cherry St., because the Missouri United Methodist Church parking lot will be reserved for a separate event, according to the release.
