FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas State Police arrested a Forrest City man following a pursuit and a crash in Fayetteville on Oct. 4.

Dustin Paulman, 23, is facing charges of felony fleeing, kidnapping, theft by receiving and first-degree battery.

According to a press release from the Arkansas State Police, around 9 a.m., troopers pulled over a silver Jeep driven by Pulman near the 65-mile marker, headed north on Interstate 49.

The release says Paulman fled at a high rate of speed and left the interstate.

Shortly after the pursuit began, Paulman crashed at the intersection of Sang Avenue and Berry Street.

According to the release, Paulman fled on foot, headed east. A passenger was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
