Orchard Park, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott revealed on Monday that starting wide receiver Keon Coleman was benched for the first series against the New England Patriots for disciplinary reasons.

Coleman, who started in the first four games, is tied for the team lead with 29 targets this season. The 22-year-old was also benched at the start of last season’s Jacksonville Jaguars game because he was late for a team function during the week.
