MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two area roads traveled by schools buses, elderly neighbors and family each day are being called a recipe for disaster by some local drivers.
The first is Crestridge Road between Cotton Plant and Germantown Road, which becomes a bustling thoroughfare from Fox Meadows or Hickory Hill to Germantown.
"It's scary to drive two blocks from your house and be in danger to get to your doc appointment or wherever you need to be," said Norm Tidwell, who has lived in the area since the 1990s and drives this road often, but now calls the trek troublesome.
