DIERKS, Ark. (KSLA) - The talk of the town in Dierks, Ark. is currently centered around the small town’s football stadium.

“A lot of excitement... We have been able to maintain the lead this past week,” said Nate Roberts, a Dierks resident.

“It would be amazing for our town. We are a town of hardworking folks,” said Cody Tedford, another Dierks resident.

The football stadium in Dierks could soon be getting a $1 million upgrade. That’s because Dierks High School is leading the pack in a the Friday Night Lights contest to win a stadium renovation sponsored by T-Mobile.

“To win this contest will be tremendous for our community,” said Jaron Tipton, school board president.
