With Halloween just weeks away, the Spirit Halloween located in Horseheads is filling up quickly with customers looking to buy their costume this year.

Many shoppers said that they're choosing costumes that lean towards popular culture. Among the predictions: a few customers predicted that trending movie characters will be popular this year.

"I know Kpop Demon Hunters has been really popular, and I feel like a lot of kids are gonna try to do that." explained Lois Hosley, who visited Horseheads from Watkins Glen to see the Halloween store.

Hosley also expressed that she thinks video game characters will be popular amongst kids this year as well.

Another customer predicted that Wicked characters will be a hit this year. "I'm thinking that the wicked witches will be everywhere," explained
