Per Darrell Hanson’s letter regarding "Another lie from our elected leaders," I’ve done my civic duty (and have done my civic duty for years) and have taken a deep dive into the reason for the current government shutdown.

Hanson correctly points out that in the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare (which is far from affordable) it clearly states that no individual that is currently in the Unites States illegally can qualify for health care under the act. It’s simple, right? To quote one of my favorite all time television personalities (Lee Corso), “Not so fast my friend!”
