INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Gov. Mike Braun shared a message to the city of Indianapolis after a physical altercation downtown allegedly involving former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez .

Braun shared the following message on X over the weekend:

Once the ongoing investigation revealed Sanchez was not the victim in this case, Braun's post was deleted.

On Monday, Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears called him out on it.

"Anytime people jump to conclusions and don't rely on facts, that is obviously disappointing," said Mears.

During a press conference, Mears addressed his concerns over Braun's tweet.
