Tuesday’s Loveland City Council meeting will be held online only, the city announced on its Facebook page Monday afternoon.

According to Nicole Yost, the city’s director of communication and engagement, the change to a remote format was made “based on availability and requests.” The move comes just days after a tense special council meeting on the city’s homeless shelter policy and one night after Mayor Jacki Marsh opened the municipal building to let unhoused residents sleep inside during heavy rain.
