MILL CREEK, Wash. — Authorities have arrested five suspects in connection with an August shooting at the Swift Orange Line transit stop in Mill Creek, officials announced Monday. The group, identified as four juveniles and one adult, was arrested following a joint investigation by the Mill Creek Police Department (MCPD) and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Violent Offenders Task Force.

Mill Creek Police responded to reports of gunfire at the transit stop in the 800 block of 164th Street SE around 5 p.m. on Aug. 16. Several juveniles were in "physical altercation" on the bus. After exiting, a man outside of the bus and a juvenile inside the bus exchanged gunfire, officials said. Police say they collected critical evidence that day that led to the arrests.
