PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Two Peoria businesses appeared in front of the liquor commission to find out if they will get their liquor license.

Big Al's request to have their liquor license renewal deferred was granted today in a brief meeting.

In the city of Peoria's monthly liquor commission meeting, which lasted exactly eight minutes, Big Al's, which is registered under the name Peoria Speakeasy, Inc., had their subclass one liquor license request deferred.

This specific subclass means that they would be able to serve alcohol and stay open until 4 a.m.
