The grand return of a beloved community event is only days away and excitement is building.

The Waroona show returns this Saturday for its 94th show, promising a family fun day out for everyone involved.

For Waroona Agricultural Society’s new president Simone Magno, this year’s show will be her first time at the helm. She said she was excited to be taking the reigns of the regional event.

“It’s an honour and a privilege — there are big shoes to fill, but I’m proud to be part of a team that’s so passionate about keeping this longstanding tradition alive,” she said.

Ms Magno said there was a buzz in the air with the show just around the corner.
