President Donald Trump roasted Fox News for what he characterized as a softball interview with Sen. Mark Kelly, saying host Peter Doocy went too easy on Arizona’s senior senator in a segment about the government shutdown.

Kelly, an Arizona Democrat seen as a possible 2028 presidential prospect, ventured into conservative Fox territory to discuss the ongoing federal government shutdown in an Oct. 5 interview on "The Sunday Briefing."
