A man who allegedly fired up to 50 bullets at random members of the public in Sydney's inner west has face court for the first time.
Croydon Park was sent into lockdown for several hours on Sunday night following reports of an active shooter.
More than a dozen people were injured including a man who remains in a serious condition after being shot in the neck.
After an almost two-hour stand-off with tactical officers, the alleged gunman Artemios Mintzas was arrested inside his apartment.
The 60-year-old has since been charged with a total of 25 offences including 18 counts of shooting with intent to murder.
Facing Burwood Local Court on Tuesday, Mr Mintzas did not apply for his release on bail.
