WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - According to The Economist, Wichita ranks as the number one most affordable major city in the US to live in solo.

Wichita beat cities like New York, Austin and Dallas. It was also ranked ‘Most Affordable’ by Go Banking Rates, ‘One of the Best Places to Live’ by Livability and ranked number four ‘Best City to Move to’ in 2024 by Forbes.
