WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Last week, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation began raiding Kansas businesses that sell THC-infused drinks that the state agency says are over the legal limit.

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach and KBI Director Tony Mattivi held a joint press conference last Wednesday to announce that KBI agents started a statewide enforcement operation , along with local law enforcement, to seize marijuana vegetation, THC vape cartridges, and other items containing suspected illegal concentrations of THC (as prohibited in KSA 21-5705, and KSA 2-3908).

Weighing in on the raids, Kansas hemp farmer and business owner Sheldon Coleman said that so far, the crackdown hasn’t been a problem for him.

Coleman runs a company that manufactures THC-infused drinks.
