BELTON, Texas — The City of Belton is asking residents to help shape the next decade of parks and recreation in the city.

The City has launched a new community survey asking residents and park users to share their input to "help shape the next 10 years of parks, events, recreation and trails in Belton."

The survey is part of the City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan process, which is an effort to "evaluate current facilities, programing and events, then identify potential improvements, and set priorities based on community vision," the City said.

“Belton’s parks are at the heart of the community,” said Belton Mayor David K. Leigh. “We want every voice—longtime resident or new neighbor—to help direct the future of our shared spaces.”
