PHOENIX — A man and girl are in hospital after they were hit by a truck while riding their bikes in Phoenix, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Fire Department said the incident happened near 24th Street and Thomas Road at aroud 7 p.m.

Fire crews arrived and rushed the man and girl to the hospital. Phoenix police said their injuries are non-life-threatening.

The scene was turned over to the Phoenix Police Department.

Police said the driver remained at the scene.
