MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Two people were arrested and almost 400 animals were rescued from a rural property in Juneau County over the weekend.
Officials said their investigation uncovered a significant case of animal neglect.
Now, 12 organizations have stepped in to help with the rescue process.
Shelter From The Storm Chief Operations Officer Payton Pritzel explained the large pile of amazon packages the shelter has received since Sunday is donations from their amazon wish list.
While it may look like a lot, it’s crucial to care for the 393 animals rescued from the property over the weekend.
“Yea this is a lot I think for this area,” said Shelter From The Storm Founder Allison Davies, commenting on the number of animals rescued.
