PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man and a girl are in the hospital after a crash in central Phoenix on Monday.

Around 7 p.m., fire crews responded to reports of a crash involving two pedestrians near 24th Street and Thomas Road .

When fire crews got to the scene, they found an adult man and a girl suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Both of them were taken to the hospital.

Police say that the two were riding their bikes when they were hit by a truck.

Detectives are still investigating.

Editor’s Note: Fire officials said both of the victims were in “immediate critical condition.” Police later said their injuries were non-life-threatening.
