MEMPHIS, Tenn. - All work, no pay.

A Memphis bartender told FOX13 she has been fighting for weeks to get what she's owed for her time at the Crazy Coop in Downtown Memphis.

“That was my money," explained Kaylee Buggs, a former employee.

According to receipts she shared with FOX13, she is owed $441 in tips and $130 in hourly pay.

"All the coworkers were asking around the store, 'Have you got paid yet? Have you got paid yet? No!'" she recalled.

Buggs showed two checks from the restaurant that bounced in early August.

According to a printed message on the checks, they were issued from a frozen or blocked account.

"The next day, (the money) just disappeared from my account," she explained.
