A community workshop in Venice this week will invite residents to share their “water stories” and learn how nature-based solutions can help improve local water quality and ocean health.

The *Venice Water Stories Workshop*, hosted by the Verdant Venice Group, will take place Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Venice Skills Center, 611 Fifth Ave. The event is part of a grant-funded initiative under Los Angeles County’s Safe Clean Water Program.

Organizers said the workshop will focus on practical ways to manage stormwater and reduce runoff pollution through green infrastructure such as rain gardens, bioswales and tree planting. Attendees will also have the chance to contribute
