A Scottish national who was detained by Israeli authorities while on a humanitarian mission to Gaza has returned home.
Margaret Pacetta, 70, was a part of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), which attempted to break Israel's sea blockade of the war-torn region with over 40 boats and around 500 people on board.
The grandmother , from Glasgow, was one of four Scottish people detained in international waters on October 1 and 2. She was deported to Turkey on Saturday alongside eight other UK nationals and arrived back on a chartered flight from Istanbul on Monday evening.
However, the status of the other Scottish nationals — Jim Hickey, Saddaqat Khan, and Yvonne Ridley — is yet to be confirmed.
