A Scots gran who was detained by Israeli authorities on a humanitarian mission to Gaza has been rushed to hospital the day after returning home . ‌

Margaret Pacetta, from Glasgow, was one of four Scots detained in international waters on October 1 and 2. ‌

The 70-year-old was part of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), which tried to break Israel's sea blockade of the war-torn region with over 40 boats and around 500 people on board . ‌

After being deported to Turkey, she returned to Scotland on a chartered flight from Istanbul on Monday, October 6.

It has now been reported in a post on social media by representatives of the flotilla that she has since ended up in hospital with "multiple infections, breathing difficulties and leg issues".
