With a new podcast studio and a fully-equipped training kitchen, the Girl Scouts will be doing more than selling cookies at their new Henrico HQ.
The Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth of Virginia recently opened its new headquarters at 3214 Skipwith Road in Henrico County.
The 18,000-square-foot, two-story building near the intersection of Broad Street and Parham Road has replaced the nonprofit’s former offices at 4900 Augusta Ave. near Willow Lawn, where it had operated for about a decade in a leased space that spanned only around 4,000 or 5,000 square feet, Girl Scouts spokeswoman Janna Joyner told BizSense.
The group’s new home will serve not only as an office space for two dozen employees, but will also be a gathering place for the Scouts themselve
