Seacoast high school volleyball teams are moving toward the home stretch and state tournaments in New Hampshire and Maine.

There were 32 members of local teams highlighted as players to watch in the preseason.

Here are 10 players who have taken advantage of their opportunities and perhaps performed even better than expected:

Reagan Bernard, Dover High School, senior, outside hitter

Amongst many solid game performances this season, the highlight for Bernard was 15 kills in Dover's 3-0 home win over Spaulding on Sept. 24.

"She was so focused and aggressive on offense during this match and we have seen an increase in this aggression since then," Dover head coach Whitney Carrie said.

Bernard is a team captain this season for the Green Wave.
