PISCATAWAY − Rutgers football needs to get back on track.
It'll have to battle a cross-country trip in order to do so.
The Scarlet Knights will return from their bye week by playing the Washington Huskies in Seattle on Friday, Oct. 10 looking to snap a two-game losing streak that's marred the early portion of the season. Buy Rutgers vs. Washington tickets
"It's not really a short week for us because we're coming off a bye, so we could adjust any way we wanted," coach Greg Schiano said. "The travel's significant. It's every bit of a five-and-a-half, six-hour flight out there. But we have a plan. We've spent a lot of time doing this at every level. To me, rather than going to Bridgewater, we're going to Seattle. It's just a plane in between the bus rides."
